The National Young Academy of Nepal (NaYAN), in partnership with Pokhara University Research Centre, is inviting undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate students to participate in NiCHOD 2026 — the fifth edition of Nepal’s nationwide three-minute research communication competition. KU students from all schools are encouraged to take part.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD students in the final stage of their thesis research (within one year of completion)
- Enrolled in a Nepali college or university
- Open to all academic disciplines
- Research must be the student’s own original work

- Graduate (PhD/Masters) — Cash prize: NRs. 50,000
- Undergraduate (Bachelors) — Cash prize: NRs. 30,000
