The Directorate of Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) organized an Agreement Signing and Orientation Program for the Principal Investigators (PIs) of the Internally Funded Projects 2025 on 20 May 2024 at the RDI Hall, Dhulikhel.
The program commenced with welcome remarks by Assoc. Prof. Brijesh Adhikary, Acting Director, RDI. Prof. Dr. Rajendra Joshi, Coordinator of the Internally Funded Projects, provided an overview of the key technical considerations for conducting research under this funding scheme.
Mr. Kumar Prasad Baral, Chief of the Finance Division, briefed the participants on financial procedures, including budget disbursement, clearance of advances, auditing requirements, and related financial processes.
Mr. Nabhendra Paudel, Chief of the Management Services Division, provided a detailed orientation on procurement processes relevant to project implementation.
An interactive discussion session followed, where PIs raised questions and received clarifications from the Director, Finance Chief, HR Chief, and Project Coordinator.
The event concluded with the formal distribution and signing of project agreements by the selected Principal Investigators.
