The Directorate of Research, Development and Innovation organized an Agreement Signing and Orientation Program for the Principal Investigators (PIs) of the Internally Funded Projects 2025 on 20th May, 2025 at the RDI Hall, Dhulikhel.
The program commenced with welcome remarks by Assoc. Prof. Brijesh Adhikary, Act. Director RDI. Prof. Rajendra Joshi, PhD , Coordinator of the Internally Funded Projects, provided an overview of the key technical considerations for conducting research under this funding scheme. Mr. Kumar Prasad Baral, Chief of the Finance Division, briefed the participants on financial procedures, including budget disbursement, clearance of advances, auditing requirements, and related financial processes. Mr. Nabhendra Paudel, Chief of the Management Services Division, provided a detailed orientation on procurement processes relevant to project implementation. There was a discussion session where the PIs kept forward their queries and the Director, Management Service chief, Finance chief and Coordinator unraveled their queries. The event concluded with the formal distribution and signing of project agreements by the selected Principal Investigators.
