The Directorate of Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) at Kathmandu University has published the PhD Index, which provides information regarding all the completed PhD research works at Kathmandu University. There has been a huge rise in the number of PhD scholars at Kathmandu University and hence a need for a booklet, like Ph.D. Index showing a quick overview of their research work was urgently felt. Around 200 Ph.D. dissertations have already been successfully completed to date.
The objective of this publication is to fill the gap in the transmission of knowledge about the research work being done at the university. There was a gap in our ability to inform potential researchers and the community of the specific academic field. So, the RDI has published this index to facilitate the tracking of the knowledge and information collected by scholars while obtaining the highest degree.
RDI would like to thank the KU administration and all those who have contributed to the publication of this first edition of the Ph.D. Index.
