On 1st October, 2023, Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) successfully organized a Special Talk Program from Fulbright Specialist Dr. Joanne D. Fahey at Senate Hall in KU, Dhulikhel, Kavre. The guest and participants are welcomed by RDI Director Prof. Bibhuti Ranjan Jha. Dr. Joanne D. Fahey is Director of Communications of Notre Dame Research and is an expert on strategic communication. She talked about research communications strategies and tactics that included branding, web, social media, storytelling, video, print and more. Among them, some strategies are already being practiced in KU. Also, our faculties and staffs put various their queries to her making it an interactive session.
The program was concluded by closing remarks from GED Acting Director Associate Prof. Uddhab Pd. Pyakurel thanking Dr. Faney and all the participants. Special thanks to Dr. Fahey for enhancing knowledge on research communications strategies and tactics from RDI.
